Community Involvement in Rochester Hills

Caring for our neighbors in and out of the exam room.

We see our patients as neighbors, friends, and long-time members of this community, and we’re proud to give back in ways that reflect those relationships.

Six people wearing glasses stand in front of a brick wall, with a man in a black shirt in the middle, and a man on the right wearing a blue shirt and sunglasses.
A group of people are standing together and smiling for a picture, they are wearing sunglasses, the man in the middle is wearing a watch, they are in a room with glass cabinets, a potted plant, and ceiling lights.

Local Roots, Lasting Relationships

Dr. Mark Roy and the Oakland Optometry team are proud to be active members of the Rochester Hills community.

Over the years, Oakland Optometry has contributed time and resources to local schools, churches, and charitable organizations, reflecting a shared commitment to wellness, education, and community connection.

Supporting Local Families & Students

We’re near Adams High School, Van Hoosen Middle School, and Oakland University and we regularly care for students and staff from these and other local institutions.

We understand the importance of strong schools and healthy communities, and we’re honored to support initiatives that benefit local families inside and outside the practice.

Whether it’s helping kids feel confident in their first pair of glasses or contributing to school-based efforts, we’re here to show up in ways that matter.

Giving Back, Quietly & Consistently

We don’t give back for the recognition. We do it because this is our home. Because when you care for a community over time, you naturally look for ways to support the people who support you.

A young man and woman stand together in front of a display of glasses in a shop.
Three people are standing in a room and smiling at the camera. The man on the left is wearing a blue shirt, the woman in the middle is wearing a black shirt and glasses, and the man on the right is wearing a black shirt and a watch. Behind them is a wooden cabinet with a glass door, a shelf with a display of glasses, and a wall with a mirror and a lamp.
